Happy New Year!! And a whimsical chocolate recipe.

2012 is coming up. I'm not up for new year resolutions.. You only tend to break them in the end. Making a Revolution is way better! The difference between a resolution and a revolution, is that a revolution is a process with no physical goals, no strive for the perfect, only for the inner satisfaction of completion.

My new years Revolutions

• continue to eat intuitively,
• travel more,
• exercise more,
• move houses,
• inner work / outer work,
• read more interesting books,
• do more crafting,
• spending lots of time in nature,
• getting out of my comfortzone,
• following my heart to 100%.

My new year Wishes

• I want to help build heaven on earth.
• I want to invest my gifts in the service of others.
• I want to inspire people to love the small things.
• I want to empower people to see their inner value and importance.

And, some new years goodies!

These super food chocolates has a little bit of everything in them. It's a creative concuction made by me and Jakob (he's the one responsible for the banana and the shredded coconut). If you don't want banana in them, or shredded coconut just skip it :) (In Swedish further down).

I made a 2012 inspirational collage, that sums up some of my dreams and focus for the coming year.

2012 is going to be an amazing year, in terms of completion, rinsing and change. I wish you to have the best year ever!

What is your Love Delivery?

For the first time in my life, I felt gratitude for the simple fact that my heart was beating. I was standing in the shower and suddenly it got to me, what a vibrant life force it holds - my body. That I have to breath my self, every inhale and exhale, but that the heart truly is the motor of life itself. I felt that I wasn't a day older than four, and that the power in being a child, unaware of it all, yet aware of it all, is a true blessing and STRENGTH. Children are free from mental prisons like neurotic concerns and over analyzing. I really got to taste that state of mind, of being all natural and free. Like a little girl. And as I stood there I felt that courage comes from this very heart shaped life force. And everything sort of zoomed in on the point where I'm at in my life now. That there is only that. What lies behind is dead, what comes, I create.. In the now. Minute by minute. That what we do with the time that has been given to us is precious. The sum of my life's actions - have they've been focussed on serving, helping, assisting others? Spreading love and kindness, hope, empowerment, and inspiration?

I don't know. I do know that making raw desserts are, by far, the most meaningful activity I've ever engaged in. Why? Because I feel that I can deliver something so simple, that everybody can understand, from young people to old, all across the globe, no matter the religion, political view, gender, language or education. The feeling of Worthiness. I'm Worthy that cupcake, because I want it, desire it and crave it.
It is so simple, yet powerful. The enjoyment of abundance, and desserts are the Queen of abundant symbols, the dream of every inner child.

It got to me then and there, that this is my gift, this is what I do (for a living too). This is my love contribution. My Love-Delivery. Of course I know how to do other things than just raw chocolates and sweets, but this is what I've chosen, my way to express good vibes. Of course I'm curious to know...

What is your Love Delivery?

Maybe you already know the answer. If not, try searching in your interests, the things you do that comes naturally, with a flow, where you are the most happy. Your gifts, talents and longings. When you know your unique Love Delivery, you owe it to yourself and humankind to spread it widely, loudly. It is your responsibility to share your gifts with the world, you didn't get them to keep them for yourself you see..

If you don't know your Love Delivery:

• Is it something that is within peoples comfort zones, or challenging them to take the leap?
• Is it something you're doing in celebration or is it a more serious matter?
• Is it something creative or technical? Communicational or nurturing?
• Is it something that activates new parts of your personality, or is it in line with what people assume you to be?

-----> To find out, write down the answers to some really important questions:

1# What I always loved to do as a little kid:..........................................................
2# What are you good at? ...............................................................................
3# What are your unique talents?......................................................................
4# What tempts you?....................................................................................
5# What is it that do you do with ease, and can openly give, that gives you more energy? ..............................................................................................................
6# What are your passions?..............................................................................
7# If you could change something in the world, what would it be?.................................
8# Picture the most Grand version of yourself. How would he/she spend the day?...............
9# When do you feel the most satisfied?..................................................................
10# If you could have a conversation with your self 15 years back in time, what advice would you give to yourself to live life more fully?.............................................................................

If you know your Love Delivery:

• What can you do to maximize and turn up the volume of your Delivery?
• Can you teach it to others?
• Could you turn it into your everyday focus?
• Are you willing to change your life to fully embrace it, or do you want to do it in your spare time?
• Are you Delivering to your community, your country or world wide?

-----> To Activate your Love Delivery, write down the answers to some really important questions:

1# I'm I open to the flow of my Love Delivery, do I let it impact me? Or is it shut down?..........
2# What key decisions do I have to make to get started?.................................................
3# Do I have faith in that I will be guided to where I need to be as long as I'm open for it?........
4# Whats in the way for me to take the leap?.............................................................
5# Is there any problems I need to solve in order to start Deliver?.......................................
6# Do I have the supporting and loving network to back me up?........................................

If enough people start focussing on their sharing love.. Soon we will have a Brotherhood of Man - what we never succeeded to create here on earth. We went to the moon and back, but never really understood that we are Family, spiritually connected with all and everyone. And that if you hurt someone else, you hurt yourself. I think that knowing your way to contribute, is a key to create this Brother/Sisterhood and Family that we lack so greatly. Where's the tribal warmth?

In my case, there's a deeply personal story behind my Love Delivery. In one of my former life, I was a prostitute. A curvy, redhead named Claire. An Irish gal, who emigrated to USA with her family, only a little girl then. They fled because they couldn't stand the poverty, the fighting in the muddy streets and the cold rainy weather (in that time you cold die from pneumonia). And I remember so many details of this past life. How the mud smelled, that the clothes from the ankles down to your feet where almost always wet and smelly (that's why I absolutely hate having wet feet today). Many years later Claire started working in a saloon in the states as a prostitute and soon became the star with regular customers... She had great dignity, but no shame. Foremost she was a motherly figure that cared for wounded men, boys in men's bodies, and many of her customers just wanted the warm, comforting and nurturing qualities that she offered.

The life of Claire has a particular impact of my life today. I'm deeply thankful for her life choices and experiences, being so open, carefree and confident. But most of all her sense of sinful pleasures. Silks, perfumes, lace, live music and all the details of luxury and FOOD!.. She was no saint, so she was free to fully engage in the pleasures of life, and food was certainly one of them.

Her appreciation for the simple things in life, is something that is of a great deal for me today. Life it self is so complicated, that the small things sometimes is the only thing consistent and concrete. When I was 20 and studied public health science at the university, I could never dream of doing what I'm doing today. Cupcakes?!?! But what about the starving children in Africa??! :) Of course I'd love to save each and every one of them, but the desserts are calling me in such an instinctive way that I have to answer the call. Delivering sweetness to people, making them stop for a while and use their senses for sinful enjoyments.. is one small way to ease the burden, to color their lives with a bit of magic!

Also when people write to me, saying that they've planned on making one of my recipes but want support because they're insecure weather the cake/pie/cookies will turn out fine or not, and I talk them into doing it.. And when they later come back to me saying: IT WAS A TOTAL SUCCESS!!! I feel like a proud mother, that this person found the courage to take a risk and won the glory of success, even if only making a dessert. It's the feeling itself that's important, not necessarily what you do to claim it. What ever lift your spirit, contributes to your sense of self. Because with a lifted spirit, you can be more of what you Are, can spread the gifts you carry, to others.

And that's really what courage can be... To follow your heart, your instincts and desires. Being more of YOU. Courage means to do something you are shit scared of. ...Or. To be all that you can be, in the name of Love. Being courageous doesn't have to involve nerves and adrenalin. It can simply be to follow your natural instincts and desires and not compromise with what your heart is telling you.

This is a few examples of what I've created in the raw dessert kitchen for the upcoming recipe ebook filled with Raw Candy!

Take great care and grow your Love Delivery to others!

Raw candy ebook update, and a happy announcement!

Happy monday folks!!

I have some happy news for you: the new webshop is crispy fresh, got some flirty make up on and that great bright smile. Me & Jakob are smiling too, as newly baked partners in this adventure, we feel blessed to walk this path of being in assistance and serving by providing some of the worlds greatest foods, greatest raw recipes and inspiration for anyone wanting to practice Self Love. Because Love is the new black, the missing piece of the world-puzzle that everyone with some sort of gift can give her or himself and the rest of the family of humans. There is noting more important than using ones gift in serving of humanity, and serving oneself to become a sharper tool for that. If you keep reading you'll find out what your gifts are..

And talking about walking one's life path. Do you know the number of your life path? When I found out years ago, that I was a 9, so much fell into place! For example, 9's will never be satisfied if their efforts is not focussed on helping, sharing, serving others. In terms of care, giving inspiration, knowledge, leadership or plain love. 9's are filantropical visionaries who want nothing more than to see a better world with more Love. So that's what we're creating with the new website, that so far, is a webshop in swedish. There will be an english website later on with lots of inspiration, information and things for you to engage in, in your traveling down your wonderful life path.

We want you, to love yourself more. Engaging in that healthy narcissism, and dynamically dance back and forth, using yourself as a source of wisdom, love, hope, power, knowing, from where you can scoop inspiration and energy, and let it spill over to others in all that you do. Dancing from the deep source within yourself, where you find a guiding light, and dance back again to the outer world where it happens, the making, the connections, the transferring of information and decisions, where it takes physical form and manifests.

The new Web Shop!! www.therawdessertkitchen.se

This is what we need to understand now: that we are all Tools in the name of Love, in different shapes! We don't need any guru, rules, religion, leader - we only need ourself. We are unique dots, but connected to all other dots out there, and together we can create the most beautiful pattern. Do you see how strong you actually are? Do you believe it? Live it? And, you don't have to be scared, because there is no failure. There are inner conflicts, contradictions between inner forces, challenges, but never failure. We are here to wake up, and like Wall.e, we walk around like sleepy heads in the awakening process, because being human is one of the hardest things. It's hard because life here is all about combining the physical with the non physical. In this you have to be equipped with a strong faith. Faith is the guiding light here on earth. Scientific proof only give you so much, then faith must take over. But the beauty in this is that we every day have to face the not-knowing (what's going to happen in the future, what other people think or their hidden motives, how they are going to act, how your acievements will fall out...) And we put a great deal of effort to assume and try to figure out things in the confusion that it is to be human.

But the only thing you can control, is your priorities of your day. If you have a clear vision of what it is that you want, you form your priorities with the vision in mind, and putting one foot infront of the other will, unmistakably take you there. The hard part is to figure out what you want. Of course you already know you want to be that beautiful Tool of Love, but how will it take your unique form???

For me, making (rather silly) desserts, are a symbol of hope, amusement, delight and pleasure that I'd love to feed the world. There's no pressure, no achievement or performance, no nothing that you have to do. Just take the cupcake and bite in to it, enjoy it. So simple. So fantastic. It's a quiet revolt against the over ambitious and neurotic western world we live in, in the shape of a silly cupcake with pink frosting. We all need a little bit (or a lot!) of Glamour to feel that it is all worth while, don't we? ;)

Calculate your Life Path Number

If you're born on the 9th of June 1963, first add together the month, day and year, than add together the individual digits of the sum, until you get one single digit.

The year: 1963 = 1+9+6+3 = 19 + 9 = 1+9+9 = 19 = 1+ 9 = 10 = 1+ 0 = 1
Month: June, 6
Day: 9

Now add together the year, month and day-numbers: 1 + 6 + 9 and you'll get a Life Path Number of 7.

The Ultimate Comfort Cookies

Happy wednesday my Friend!

Bright as a button today are we? ...Or maybe not? Either way I got one perfect excuse for you to roll up your sleeves and spend 15 minutes to make these cookies weather you want to celebrate an awesome day or pick your self up from a not so good one. The ultimate celebration cookies or comfort cookies! They are chewy, of a cookie dough consistency and full of heavy chocolate flavors. Who can resist that?! Oh yeah, they are healthy too!

Made of prunes, pumpkin seed flour (that you can easily make), some virgin coconut oil, raw cacao, agave/honey and vanilla - they are easy peasy to make.

Health benefits of Prunes:
[Prunes are dried plums]

• Contains a unique phytochemical (plant chemical) called neochlorogenic and chlorogenic acid. These are antioxidants that are damage-preventing, neutralizing a particularly dangerous oxygen radical. Prunes also prevent oxygen-based damage to fats. Since our cell membranes and brain cells consists of fat you can image the importance of the these antioxidants.

• Prunes are full of beta-carotene (vitamin A). Just a quarter of a cup will give you 17% of the daily need of vitamin A. So this recipe gives you nearly 70% or your daily need for vitamin A. Vitamin A promotes a beautiful, clear skin and healthy complexion. It also helps preventing wrinkles and acne. Beta-carotene has been shown in studies to be helpful to prevent a variety of diseases like atherosclerosis, diabetic heart disease and colon cancer, it is also useful for reducing inflammatory conditions like asthma, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

• Prunes are rich in potassium. The mineral that is needed for bone health and mental stability. The "15 minutes Chocolate Fudge Cookie" recipe gives you 35% of your daily need of potassium.

• Fibre! Prunes contain water soluble fibers, that helps normalize blood sugar = temper and energy, prolonging the feeling of satiety = helps in weight loss. They also prevent constipation = detoxifying. Eating high water-soluble fibre foods like prunes, figs, nuts, flax, fruits, psyllium) helps prevent heart disease and a study involving older women showed a 34% reduction in breast cancer risk for those consuming the most water soluble fruit fibers.

Friendly bacteria. Prunes provides nutrition for the friendly bacteria in the large intestine that is needed for a healthy colon. Healthy colon means beautiful skin and better immune system.

• Prunes increase the absorption of iron.

15 minutes Chocolate Fudge Cookies
[Swedish further down]

• 1 cup of Prunes (moist)
• 0.5 cup raw Cacao
• 2 tablespoons virgin Coconut oil
• 1 cup Pumpkin seeds (make into a flour)
• 2.5 tablespoons Honey or Agave nectar
• 1/4 teaspoon real Vanilla
• 2 small pinches of Himalayan salt

Grind the Pumpkin seeds into a fine flour in a coffee grinder or blender. Put aside in a bowl. To the bowl add the dry ingredients (Cacao, Salt and Vanilla and stir by hand.) Add the moist Prunes to a food processor and process until you have a "prune-paste". Put the paste in the bowl with the dry ingredients and add the Coconut oil and Honey/Agave to the bowl and start massaging with your hands until you have a dough ball.

Roll small balls of the dough, flatten them into patties and use a fork to make stripes. Eat them as they are or put them in the fridge to eat them cold.

15 minutes Choklad-Fudge Kakor

• 2 dl Katrinplommon (färska och mjuka)
• 1 dl raw Kakaopulver
• 2 msk virgin Cocosolja
• 2 dl Pumpakärnor (mals till fint mjöl)
• 2.5 msk Agavenectar alt. honung

Climbing higher and Pecan & Fig bars!

Namasé beautiful beings!

We went climbing today, my first time. Exiting and quite scary with my first attempt to climb to the top. I've always thought that "that's nooo game for me", but once you're up there, you see it from a new angle sort of speak :) As I'm a bit afraid of heights, this was a challenge. I could feel a panic attack coming, so I wasn't up for pushing my limits. But before we left I had another go and went almost all the way to the top. Having done this, something sublime falls into place, as I'm planning on taking my raw dessert making to the next level. Climbing was a symbolically important ritual that I will carry with me in my planning and creating.

Looking at the dessert work I've done lately, I can clearly say that I'm in a "cookie & snack" phase now.. :) Today I made these Pecan and fig bars that turned out really good! I love a good, moist bar with lots of flavor. The crisp, crunchy ones are great too, but if you are really hungry and out and running, these will fill you up better than a crispy bar would.

Want the recipe of these bars? Sign up to my eLetter in the top of the right menu and you will receive the recipe in the end of november!

Happy 11-11-11 and Chia heart Cookies!

Happy 11-11-11 day to You!

Did you know that you can change your DNA by simply exposing your mind to high vibrant words? If you are familiar to the work of Mr. Masaru Emoto, the japanese scientist who photographs ice crystals  after the water has been exposed to different words, like "love", "gratitude", "peace" and other high frequency words, forms the most beautiful and well structurued ice crystals. Keeping this in mind, and the fact that our body is up to 70% of water.. You quickly realize how easy it is to put the entire you in a different wavelength, when working with words. This fascinates me, and I'm trying to sneak in good vibe words in my daily life (as well as affirmations). Filling up with not only physical nutrition, but also frequency nutrition is equally as important.

How it's done

• Repeat a sentence with good vibe words to re-progam yourself, like "I am Healthy", "My life is a Miracle", "My Dreams comes True", or what ever you need to fill up with a couple of times every day, you will feel the shift inside.

• You can also put a glass of water on top of a note with a high frequent word, and this will load the  water with that frequency for you to benefit from while hydrating.

I made some chia cookies yesterday, just for the sake of playing around with chia gel, this time in orange juice. They became rather "leather like" in the dehydrator. They certainly must be some sort of "Lambas Raw Cookies". Every bite is maximized with nutrition! Dipped in melted raw chocolate and sprinkled with some extra chia seeds. And the combination of orange, cinnamon and apricot goes so well together!

Chia Hearts, makes 10 (nut free).
Swedish further down

• 1/4 cup Pumpkin seeds
• 1/4 cup Orange juice + 2 tablespoons Chia = Chia gel
• 1 tablespoon Mesquite
• 1 pinch Himalayan salt
• 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
• 3 dried, soft Apricots
• 2 teaspoons Agave nectar
• 4-5 tablespoons Water

Grind the Pumpkin seeds into a flour. Add the Chia to the Orange juice and stir, let it soak for about 10 minutes. Now add the Pumpkinseed flour and Chia gel with the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and process until you have a rather loose dough.

Spread the dough evenly on a teflex sheet using a spatula, put on a mesh tray and let it dry in the dehydrator for 8 hours. Remove the teflex sheet after about 6 hours. You do this by carefully folding the side of the teflex sheet underneath the dough, and slowly pull it to expose. Or, put another tray on top and flip!

When the dough has become "leather like", use a heart shaped cookie cutter and start stamping the dough!

Melted Chocolate

• 2 tablespoons virgin Coconut oil
• 2 tablespoons raw Cacao powder
• 1 tablespoon Agave nectar

Melt the Coconut oil in a water bath or in the dehydrator. Add the Cacao and Agave, stir by hand. Wait until the chocolate thickens before you dip the hearts. Sprinkle some Chia seeds over the chocolate covered hearts before the chocolate hardens so they stick to the chocolate.

Chiahjärtan, blir ca 10 st. Nötfria.

• 1 dl Pumpakärnor
• 1 dl Apelsinjos + 2 msk Chiafrön = Chiagel.
• 1 msk Mesquite
• 1 nypa Himalayasalt
• 1 krm Kanel
• 3 torkade Aprikoser (välj de mjukaste)
• 2 tsk Agave nektar
• 0.5 dl Vatten

Låt torka i 8 timmar.

• 2 msk virgin Cocosolja
• 2 msk raw Kakaopulver
• 1 msk Agave nektar

Let's make a better world, shall we? Let's Occupy our own dreams!

Aloha beautiful one!

• This post is about how we can use our vision to create a better world, by focusing on what we want.
• I've been creative in the kitchen and made a special cake you can read more about further down..
•..and made a whimsical lamp with Jakob.

We have an Occupy movement now, starting at Wall street. People are angry with the system. They blame "them" that made it all go wrong. I love that people are starting to wake up, it's not a day too soon. The world is a deeply unjust place to live in for the majority of people. But stop a while and think about it. Can we adjust this just a little bit so that the movement can have a stronger impact? If we put all our focus on what's wrong, in anger, frustration even desperation.. Than that's what we create. We know that we're angry for sure, but what would happen if we sat down, using that strong desire and started focusing on what we want? Addressing to the "leaders" (= puppets in the game) in anger, only makes us Underdogs, Victims. In that position, we can create no good. Because this is about creating. The old, false banking system must fall down into crumbs. It's been prisoning us for centuries, and can no longer do so for a human friendly life on earth, where love rules, not greed. It is time now to turn over a new leaf for the future on earth and together create a new chapter - the greatest one ever seen.

The big question is: What is Your dream vision about the new world? What would it look like?

Now we need to unify and keep our focus on the beautiful vision of the future. This is where we are truly powerful. Not in angry masses on the streets. The people that rule America and has ruled the world for quite some time now, the obscenely wealthy and mighty power-families, people in the secret societies, couldn't care less about some angry people in the streets. They just carry on with their agenda as if non of this ever happen. Forget about Obama, he's not the one in control. He never was. He's a pretty looking paper figure that runs the errands of the uglier fishes. He's a one dimensional kliche, used to distract the public from the real power figures, covering up their plans with a juicy rhetorical strategy. You can call it a "conspiracy theory" if you like, but you know, that there's always a bigger fish, lurking behind the scenes, pulling the threads, making a puppet show of the politicians we see in the newspaper and on tv. And we all buy it. We consume the lie. So, why are we angry about it? We need to face the truth of who is who in this Game. Again, we are the 99%. With our desire and will to create a better world, we can achieve SO much! But, we've become cynical as a result of too much bad input and a lack of faith in the divine.

I believe in the power of prayer. Every thought is a pray, every feeling, action, spoken or written word is a pray. So is your intentions, desires, visions and dreams. Also things you create with your hands. These are your "prayer tools" that you use every day, consciously or unconsciously to create your life. In fact, the very point you are at now, is a result of the praying you've been doing, during your life. We need to cultivate good prayers, turn every day into a beautiful, grateful pray.

To make this shift from being angry and frustrated into focusing on what beautiful things you wish to create, you need to open your heart. Your visionary mind needs the energy from the heart to flow through. There's many ways to do this of course, but I was inspired to make my vision into a cake. So I went to the kitchen and came up with a raspberry pink, chocolate dense, super food:ish cake. Nut free.
The opening of the heart also includes playing. You can't be an underdog as long as you have fun, being on top with the greatest, happiest vibe. To give the cake an element of fun, I added chocolate ornaments.

Open Your Heart Cake
(in swedish further down)

Cookie dough base

• 0.5 cup Dates
• 05 cup Pumpkin seeds
• 1 tablespoon raw Cacao powder
• 1 tablespoon Mesquite
• 1 tablespoon Maca
• a pinch of Himalayan salt
• 1 tablespoon virgin Coconut oil
• 1/4 cup Water

Pit and soak the Dates for 10 minutes. Make a flour of the Pumpkin seeds, using a coffee grinder or blender. Add everything to a food processor and process until you have a dough. Press down the dough in a spring pan using your hands. Focus on a beautiful vision, the opening of your heart or love.

Raspberry Filling

500 g frozen Raspberries (1.5 cups as thawed and save some for decoration)
• 1.5 cup shredded Coconut (grounded into a flour)
• 0.5 cup virgin Coconut oil
• 2 tablespoons Agave nectar, or the sweetener of your choice
• 0.5 cups Water

Thaw the frozen Raspberries in some hot water. They need to be at room temperature to incorporate with the coconut oil later. Make a fine flour of the shredded Coconut by grinding it in a coffee grinder or blender. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or blender except the coconut oil, and process until completely smooth. Then add the Coconut oil and process 30 seconds more. Use a virgin coconut oil, that is raw/cold pressed. It has a wonderful taste that enhances your desserts to the maximum!

Chocolate cream filling for the pastry bag

• 0.5 cup Dates, pitted and soaked
• 0.5 cup virgin Coconut oil
• 2 tablespoons raw Cacao powder
• 2 tablespoons Mesquite
• 1/4 teaspoon real Vanilla (from pod)
• a tiny pinch of Himalayan salt
• 0.5 cups shredded Coconut
• 1/4 cup Water

Soak the Dates. Make a fine flour of the shredded Coconut by using a coffee grinder or blender. Melt  the Coconut oil in a water bath or in a dehydrator. Add the Coconut flour, Cacao powder, Mesquite, Vanilla, Salt, Dates and Water to a food processor and process. Now add the melted Coconut oil and process until incorporated. Put in a pastry bag with a tip with teeth and put in the fridge to harden enough  so that you can make a pretty line, squeezing the bag. If your pastry bag gets too cold = hard filling, you just warm it up in the dehydrator, alternatively warm it with your hands.

Raw Chocolate ornament

• 1/4 cup virgin Coconut oil
• 2 tablespoons raw Cacao powder
• 2 tablespoons Agave nectar

Melt the Coconut oil in a water bath, or your dehydrator. Add the Cacao and Agave, stir by hand. Pour the melted chocolate in a squeeze bottle and put in the fridge for the chocolate to harden a bit. It's not supposed to come out runny. When the chocolate is ready (try it on your hand first), make ornament shapes on a greaseproof paper that you put on top of a plate. Put the chocolate / plate in the freezer. After 5 minutes, you can carefully remove the chocolate ornaments from the paper. Be super careful! And make many so you have a reserve if they break. Try making the ornaments rather tight. In that way they are easier to handle.

When you have decorated the cake with the chocolate filling, using the pastry bag, you put some of the chocolate ornaments by carefully press them down into the filling. Again, be super careful. Don't stress.

Open Your Heart Cake

Kladdkake-Botten

• 2 dl Dadlar, urkärnade och blötlagda
• 2 dl Pumpakärnor
• 1 msk virgin Cocosolja
• 1 msk raw Kakao
• 1 msk Mesquite
• 1msk Maca
• en nypa Himalayasalt
• 0.5 dl Vatten

• 1.5-2 msk ljus Agavenektar

Tina Hallonen i lite varmt vatten.

The super foods in it has a combination that I love... Both for the taste but mostly for the effect, the synergistic "communication" between them. It was this super food trio that helped me open my heart back in 2007 when I started experimenting with super foods. I'm talking about Maca, raw Cacao and Mesquite. One particular evening, crossing masses of people in the christmas crowd, something I used to hate! I just couldn't cope with crowds and started to feel rather worried about it, about the fact that I had to adjust my everyday life to this discomfort. This evening though, I made a remarkable discovery.. I was actually enjoying being in the former claustrofobic tightness of stressed out people, for the first time in 5 years. This after eating Maca, Mesquite and raw Cacao powder in my smoothies for only three days! I had closed my heart to protect my sensitive inner parts from stress and a crazy world. Now it opened!! So, obviously, I had to put these ingredients into the cake. The raspberries because they are symbol of summer, birthday parties, the inner child and play and for the sake of the pretty color.

I wish with this cake, that the demonstrators in Wall street turn their focus within. Sit in large groups, constantly holding the focus on the vision and holding the vibrational high, in love, abundance, faith, justice, light, the Divine, happiness, joy and victory.

As I wrote in the previous post, we have had some fun in making a new lamp. We've been sitting in the bed at night with paper, scissor, glue and yarn. Our lamp is a manifestation of love, of the magic of life and dreams just like the cake. And every time we see it, it makes us happy, both because it looks wierdly funky, but also because of the genuine love we put into making it. We bought the lamp at a second hand shop that supports homeless people. There we also found an old, beautiful book with the title "The laughing human", brilliant we thought! We cut heart shapes of the leafs from the book and used a marker pen to highlight beautiful words. We also used some old wall papers that the guy living here before us, left in the attic. I'm in love with the idea to make something new out of something old! I can feel a serious addiction rolling in here :)

Until I see you next time, take care and cultivate your visions!

Granola

Hi the beautiful people! It's autumn!

I'm back again after a while of working on the new newsletter and doing some inner processing. A lot of things has happened. I'm throwing out some of my things, creating space and finding new parts of my self (that's wonderful by the way, you should try it!) For instance, try getting rid of old clothes you wore during the peak of your life. They don't fit you anymore, as you are holding on to the past every time you wear them. If you give them away, you just might se another you in the mirror! I gave away a rather girly skirt I used to love, only to find out how much this skirt had hold me back by just sitting in my closet (!) I've done these wardrobe feng shui missions before, but never have I seen so dramatic changes. A pink, girly skirt just isn't me....

This month of october is packed full of interesting earth changes, and I gladly welcome them! What ever happens, needs to happen. For me it feels like years of inner pressure is being relieved and I can finally feel and see the light in the tunnel (and while writing this, I saw a sharp, golden orb in front of me; that's a good omen!) Strangely enough.. I realize I'm made to cope these situations. The spartanian living  during the years at the university, and then living a bohemian life outside the safe social network of a dayjobb and so forth, being unplugged from the grid of madness. I really have nothing to loose of material means.

This is our time now. We, who know how to find glitter on a gray pavement, we who hear birds sing in the park while others just passes by, noticing nothing. We who see shapes in clouds, and potential in every acorn, sea shell, a beautiful leaf or in a smile.

I'm positively sure that this crisis is manageable, and even a chance to readjust things we would like to change in our life. We're entering a new era now. The dawn of humanity, a human friendly, human sustainable world. No more left brain dualism, fear based and god disconnected mind-prissons. I could talk myself warm about politics and the successful *underground* war against the Illuminati administration. ..But this is a blog about raw desserts, right? :D

I've started to surf on this wave of change, and readjusting things in my life that I want to change. Something I haven't felt I had enough time to focus on is handcrafting. But I've realized how much that adds to my life quality, so now I'm full on crafting!! I'm specifically drawn to making beautiful things out of old and used stuff. Today we bought an old vintage lamp for about $5 that we are going to make really funky and special :) I'll put some photos up when it's done!!

...So let's talk about recycling! Let's talk about permaculture!*

Granola is great, because you can throw together pretty much what you have in the kitchen and use the granola to snack on, form them into bars, eat them with almond milk or as a topping on a cake. You can keep some in your purse for those moments when you need to fuel yourself when you're out. Look in your cupboards, jars and drawers. And bring your biggest bowl and start to create your own mix!!

Must have My Granola

I used a 4 liter / 135 oz bowl and basically added everything I had at home. Things you can put in your granola:

• shredded coconut,
• pieces of dried fruits and berries (cranberries, blueberries, black currants, raspberries, strawberries, raisins, dates, apple..)
• cacao nibs,
• buckwheaties, oats and quinoa (you can sprout them, and then dry them in a dehydrator),
• pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, melon seeds,
• nuts of all kinds,
• super foods like maca, mesquite, purple corn, acai, camu, algeas, schizandra berries...
• 1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon,
• 0.5 teaspoon himalayan salt,
• 2 cups of raw freshly pressed apple juice

When you have your big bowl of dry granola ingredients, you pour about 2 cups of apple juice over it and stir. (We used apples that we picked from trees nearby, all local and hanging there to rot).

Spread it over the sheets in your dehydrator and let it dry until you have big chunks of sticky granola. Next time I'll put the apple juice in the blender together with one or two bananas as a sweetener, that would be awesome! Or some carrot juice? There's plenty of choices.

I love this, because you have to 1) use your imagination 2) be intuitive and 3) act recycling and permacultural! There is no right or wrong, just YOUR way. This is also super funny to make with kids!
Also be aware that drying currants (red, white, black), raspberries or blueberries takes days in the dehydrator.

*) "Permaculture aims to create stable, productive systems that provide for human needs; it's a system of design where each element supports and feeds other elements, ultimately aiming at systems that are virtually self-sustaining and into which humans fit as an integral part. It's a philosophy of working with nature, of protracted and thoughtful observation (what you have in your kitchen that could fit for a granola, picking apples that nobody use), rather than protracted and thoughtless labor; and of looking at plants and animals in all their function, rather than treating any area as a single project system."

You're so precious, take good care

Personal: My Checklist. What does yours look like?

I recently watched one of the most meaningful movies in a long time. It's with Julia (love her) Roberts, and I know I'm about one year behind, but I finally saw "eat, pray, love". And to sum up the feeling after watching this movie: it's amazing how many pieces of the puzzle that falls into place, once you give yourself some time and space to Breath..

I used to be so good at this. I was spending my days, not chanting, never did, but living an every day life filled with a maximized sense-pressence. Know what I mean?

Singing. A lot. Every day, several hours. Not, humming, but singing o u t   l o u d, seriously, from head to toe, full body of voice, nice voice :) Too shy to perform though. And dancing. Loosing my self in the vivid dreamworld of dance. Lonely dancing in my own little fantasy bubble. Never cared much about the time, only for the weather and rhythm of nature. I haven't owned a watch in years.

If I were to ever find my self with just a liitle more courage than I needed.. I'd sign up for singing lessons. Or kidnapping a friend to join. I have to have someone to giggle through the first 15 minutes, until I can step out of my silly-fiveyearold-bubble and become a sincere grown up. But it's the closeness that's scary. If I'm about to strip soul-naked in front of someone I don't know (or worse - someone I do know) and explode in artistic vulnerability, It takes a lot of.. I don't know, distance? Like, you transform into "someone who sings"? Or how does it work? When I belly dance, I transform into "an entertainer". Though it takes a lot of practice to be comfortable in that role. Not there yet :)

Now I'm a business woman. With grand plans of how it all will result in me walking the beach somewhere with a wild kid running around, walking barefoot with Mr husband-Jakob in a sarong, me that is, ok him too, sarongs are nice. Working 4 hours a week, maintenance work. And doing what I love: Sharing. Giving. Helping. Assisting. Being in the mother energy for all that needs a little comfort and caring, or a lot of it.

This post is all about being true to yourself. I wrote down my own truths, how they look right now.
I'd love for you to share what you're inner checklist looks like! Just a few short, but powerful sentences to capture what feels true to your heart. If you're not clear about what it is, this could be a little enlightening moment for you. Shoot and show me!

My inner Checklist

Up until now (and I count "now" as a rather long, ongoing period), I've been occupied with personal bits, like getting healthy and glowing enough to live my dream, though getting closer every day. And funny enough, it's the people that treated me bad, that I got the most out from, when it comes to dignity, integrity, boundary setting, and feeling my raw truth, standing up for my self and my beliefs, not compromising with the important stuff. But..

With toxic people there's only one rule: when you've learned the lesson they have for you - cut them off your life. (when you get the message hang up the phone).

I read something yesterday that really got my vibe down. Someone, with good company, totally made fun of Gabriel Cousens in a discussion forum with a silly image of him having dollar signs in his eyes and other silly things. They were all talking B.S. about him being so focused on making money. I'd say it's nobody else's business, what business you have for your own life. What your dream looks like, how you want to spend the day of the life that's been given to you. It's your full birth right to be wealthy, in what ever way you need and want to ("wealth", is so much more than money). What I read yesterday in the discussion forum, was such an under dog:ism. If you can't recognize your self, put your self at the top of your life, you sure as *h* can't stand seeing anyone else do that thing ether. So you have to B.S. about it. Sad... Jealousy. It always brings me down seeing or hearing people that can't celebrate other peoples successes. Again, if you can't celebrate others success, you can't celebrate your own, or probably you don't have success in your life.

And what about the war that's going on in the raw food community, between the sub groups? Eating 30 bananas a day or not? Eat as much fruits as you can v.s. eat as little fruit as you can. God... I wish people could stop arsing around with their food, acting like it was some sort of cult and just have a good time. It's like a dear friend of mine always said; don't get lost in your head, it's messy in there. And that's where you end up if you invest all of your ego in your eating. You become very vulnerable.

The last week I have completely snorted the music of the cute man-boy John Mayer, (ok, ok photos and interviews too) *busted*. I discovered him years ago, but re-discovered him just recently. It's so refreshing with people that's comfortable in them self, just doing their thing, know what I mean? Not being so freaked out what others will think.. opinions.. values. And when you've sort of taken someone in, and sensed something that you like, you'll find yourself wanting to know ~everything~. When I've overdosed gorgeous John (actually the message he has there), I'll throw him in the garbage :) Fun ey? ^^
NEXT!! I had a total Alanis Morissette-addiction the period before John. Listen non stop to her music (love the lyrics) every hour, every day for a week. Now I can't stand it. I soaked it all up sort of speak.

I'm tired of spiritual prestige. Of spiritual got-to-do-it-all-right-love-and-light. I'd love for people to make up their own set of rules, rather than following others :S That would be so liberating! Make your own checklist, on what's nearest and dearest to you. You don't have to get the spiritual "high score", in saying all the right words. Realize that you are the guru you've been waiting for. If you like to screw around - do it! If you like Herb - smoke it! If you like unnecessary high heals shoes - for the love of God, go get those shoes! And if you're a woman, surrender to this lovely quote I found today:

"Well behaved women seldom make history"

Doesn't it feel good, letting go a little bit? Loosen up? Embrace All of you? I sure think so ^^
Tomorrow, I'll buy miself new boots. Expensive ones, I don't really have a budget for them, but gotta have them. I'm not a shoe kind of woman, but something must have changed inside of me, because suddenly I just have to have them. You only live once, make the best out of it, and right now these new shoes will warm my heart every time I look at them, take them out for a walk for months, and months to come. That's good enough reason for me!! ..I who could only feel good if I had done all the "right things" during the day: eaten insanely healthy stuff, done my yoga and exercising (pilates), being a slave under the spiritual books I read, letting the words and meanings in the books become my truths, rather than creating my own, from life experience, having my home in a pixel perfect condition and on top of that trying to act bohemian (???) haha.. funny combination. I just turned 30, so I guess I have all the distance now that I need to see right through me with love. Ok.. Enough closeness now, otherwise I'll start talking about things I wouldn't want my mum to read..

And don't forget to do that checklist!

With love
/Karolina~
